Q: Are classes Face-to-Face?
Our goal as a school is to provide the opportunity for consistent BRilliANT dance education, exceptional BRilliANT dance experience, and quality BRilliANT dance training to all of our BRilliANT students. In the pursuit of brilliance, we require all movers to start their dance education and training online with our dance curriculum. Students will then be able to upgrade their virtual class package(s) with Face-to-Face class(es) (per week) as their schedules and our class size(s) guideline(s) permit Monday-Thursday afternoons. Students who desire additional Face-to-Face time will have the option to add more in-person class(es) and/or private(s)/semi-private(s) at our normal Face-to-Face class rates. As the demand for more Face-to-Face time increases, in-person class prices may be subject to change.
Q: Where are Face-to-Face classes held?
Face-to-Face classes have the potential to be held but are not limited to fitness area(s), outdoor parks, recreational centers, and/or in home visits.
Q: What are BRilliANT Face-to-Face class expectations?
All Face-to-Face class participant(s) are expected to wear mouth/nose face coverings at all times (unless drinking water), while maintaining a minimum of 6 foot distance from other(s) at all times. Student(s) are expected to bring and/or utilize their own additional individual equipment for the class. Individual equipment for the class is not included in class prices. Specific additional equipment is contingent upon the instructional focus and/or personal preference of each mover. Additional equipment for class includes but is not limited too, BRilliANT Journals, proper dance attire, yoga mat(s), BRilliANT portable ballet barre(s), sunblock/bug spray, personal wipes for individual equipment, and/or an individual water bottle. Hand sanitizing station(s) will be accessible on-site. Read more details regarding class expectations per each age group below:
Starbursts ages (0-3) require the active participation and/or assistance of a parent/guardianship at all times during our in person classes. Classes are active for 30 minutes and allow time for questions/answers for up to an additional 15 minutes. Yoga mats and active sneakers are highly recommended for outdoor surfaces.
Milky Ways ages (4-6) require the active attention and on occasion, physical assistance of their parent/guardian. Classes are active for 40 minutes and allow time for questions/answers for up to an additional 10 minutes. BRilliANT Journals, Yoga mats, and active sneakers are highly recommended for outdoor surfaces. The concept of our BRilliANT portable ballet barre may be introduced as classes progress though is not required for participation.
Comets ages (7-13) classes are active for 50 minutes and allow time for questions/answers for up to an additional 5 minutes. BRilliANT Journals, Yoga mats, Jazz dance sneakers, and a BRilliANT portable ballet barre are highly recommended for outdoor surfaces
Galaxies ages (14-18+) classes are active for 58 minutes and allow time for questions/answers up to an additional 2 minutes. BRilliANT Journals, Yoga mats, Jazz dance sneakers, and a BRilliANT portable ballet barre are highly recommended for outdoor surfaces.
All Moves: As students progress BRilliANTLY, the expectation is to spend less class time verbally asking question(s) and more class time actively embodying the participation of questions and answers through movement.
Q: How does one embody a question? Movers can begin to embody questions through movement as they actively explore and attempt to perform the movement(s) and/or sequence(s) of movement(s) that are/have been demonstrated by the dance educator, dance instructor, and/or dance assistant(s).
Q: What are BRilliANT Portable Ballet Barres?
BRilliANT Portable Ballet Barres are lightweight/hazard reduced ballet barres that can be conveniently sanitized, assembled, and disassembled for indoor/outdoor dance classes. BRilliANT ballet barres are made to order and require a deposit per each customer. All movers are required to bring and utilize individual equipment per each Face-to-Face class.
Q: Why are Brilliant Face-to-Face class expectations important?
To ensure the health and safety of our educator(s), artist(s), staff, guardian(s), and student(s) all face-to-face participant(s) require consistent embodiment but not limited too, the following: listening skill(s), personal body awareness, and the consideration of mental and physical safety of oneself and other(s) before working brilliantly in group setting(s). Our goal as a school is to safely provide all of our students with the most brilliant and consistent dance education and training there is to offer. At any given time a student(s) take(s) way and/or distract(s) other student(s) from educational instruction, BRilliANTMOVERS and its representative(s) have/has the right(s) to request the mover(s) to continue their learning at home until they are fully prepared to actively and consistently meet our BRilliANT Face-to-Face class expectations.
Q: Where is the Schedule for Face-to-Face classes?
Our Face-to-Face class options will be held Monday-Thursday afternoons. The availability and majority location(s) of early admitted students will be prioritized first when determining our official Face-to-Face class schedule and location(s).
